Kampong Thom province will soon benefit from solar energy
GreenYellow, in partnership with ATUM Energy, has been awarded the design, financing, and construction of a 1.52 MWp solar farm by SOMA ENERGY.
The plant will supply electricity to the grid to help strengthen the power supply and widen the access to renewable and affordable energy in the province.
This project will displace more than 1,000 tons of CO2 emissions per year.
Construction works are progressing at a steady pace. PV modules are currently being installed on site and the plant will be operational by September 2020.
